Bring your expertise in behavior intervention and your passion for student growth to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting area schools. Youll contribute your knowledge as a Behavior Specialist, Paraprofessional, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), collaborating with educators and related service providers to promote positive classroom climates and individual student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience in a school setting, especially supporting students with behavioral needs
• Valid RBT certification or equivalent professional credentials preferred
• Familiarity with implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
• Demonstrated ability to de-escalate challenging situations and support diverse learners
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Compassion, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to student achievement
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the guidance of behavioral specialists or special education staff
• Work directly with students individually or in small groups, monitoring progress and collecting data
• Model and teach prosocial skills, coping strategies, and academic routines
• Support classroom teachers in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
• Assist in crisis prevention, intervention, and follow-up as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, adjust, and evaluate behavioral supports
• Communicate updates and recommendations to families and staff when appropriate
