Job Description

Step into a key role supporting students and staff across a dynamic educational setting as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This full-time contract opportunity begins in August and runs through late May of the following school year, offering 37.5 hours per week. Youll serve as an itinerant BCBA, providing services at multiple school sites based on evolving district needs, ensuring meaningful impact across a range of educational environments.

Youll work with both general and special education students, addressing significant disproportionality and supporting positive behavioral outcomes. The role also entails delivering staff training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), making a difference not just for students but for the entire school community.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas BCBA license
  • School-based experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with general and special education populations
  • Ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
  • Willingness to travel between multiple school sites
  • Commitment to fulfilling all credentialing requirements, including TEA fingerprint clearance (to be completed if not already done for another Texas public school district)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop effective intervention plans
  • Collaborate with school teams to address behavioral challenges and create supportive environments
  • Provide training and coaching to staff on behavior management techniques
  • Supervise RBTs and ensure fidelity of interventions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
