A part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available within a high school setting located in Elgin, IL. This contract position supports students in a high school district, providing specialized behavior analysis services approximately 1 to 2 days per week during the 2024-2025 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the Illinois school BCBA and Professional Educator License (PEL) guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators, para-professionals, and other support staff to monitor and adjust behavior strategies.
- Conduct assessments and provide data-driven recommendations to improve student outcomes.
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required by the district.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Illinois school BCBA certification.
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in the state of Illinois.
- Experience working with high school students in a school-based behavioral setting.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite 1 to 2 days weekly during the school calendar.
Location:
- Elgin, IL, serving a high school within the district.
Additional Information:
- This is a contract position with a flexible part-time schedule.
- Onsite presence required.
- The district supports paraprofessional, RBT, or related supervision as needed.
- Standard school-specific onboarding processes, including fingerprinting and background checks, will apply prior to start.
