Step into a vital role supporting students across a dynamic public school district in the Dallas metropolitan area. We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join an itinerant team working with general and special education students across multiple school sites for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity that allows you to make a meaningful difference in educational outcomes by working directly with students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas BCBA license required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Comfortable providing training to educational staff and offering supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Flexibility to support a variety of campuses, adapting to the districts evolving needs
- Strong understanding of disproportionality within educational settings
- Must complete fingerprint clearance through the TEA (if not done recently for another district)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavioral support and intervention to both general and special education students
- Assess, design, and implement behavioral programs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship for staff and RBTs to improve behavioral practices throughout the district
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Respond promptly to behavior-related crises and support individualized education plan (IEP) processes as needed
