Job Description

Located in Somerville, MA, this full-time contract position offers an opportunity to support young learners as a Behavior Specialist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within an elementary school setting. The focus is on working with preschool and kindergarten children, ages 3 to 6, in both public school classrooms and community partner programs specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role is designed for professionals with a Massachusetts BCBA license who thrive in a diverse and inclusive educational environment. The position runs from ASAP through June, with approximately 35 hours per week, scheduled from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid MA BCBA license required
  • Experience working with preschool and kindergarten-aged children, particularly in ASD programs
  • Background in school psychology or behavior analysis within educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive environments for diverse learners

Responsibilities:

  • Implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Conduct assessments and monitor progress for children in preschool and kindergarten ASD programs
