Job Description
This contract position in Bensalem, PA offers an opportunity to support students with moderate to severe needs as a Behavior Specialist with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials. The role is part of the Extended School Year (ESY) program, providing critical behavioral services in a school setting focused on positive student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver behavior analytic services in compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) BCBA requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers and related services staff to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Provide direct support during ESY instructional hours, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Participate in related services orientation and setup to align with school programs and student needs.
- Adjust service delivery based on individual student goals, classroom environment, and team feedback.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA licensure meeting PDE standards.
- Experience working with students exhibiting moderate to severe behavioral challenges.
- Ability to commit to the full ESY schedule from June 29 to July 30, 2026.
- Reliable transportation with residence within 35 minutes of assigned school location.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within an interdisciplinary school team.
Locations and Schedule:
- Positions available at Fallsington Elementary and Samuel Everitt School in Bucks County.
- Four days per week, 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM.
- Placement considers proximity to home and student needs; flexibility with classroom assignments required.
