Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train and support educators and paraprofessionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments for students exhibiting challenging behaviors
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform practice and adjust interventions
- Provide consultation, training, and ongoing support to school staff and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Collaborate with school administration to foster a positive, supportive educational environment
