Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students in a vibrant educational environment. This full-time, onsite contract position offers 35 hours per week, with immediate start and a tentative end date of June 15, 2027. There is potential for contract extension, as the district continues the search for a permanent hire.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), youll engage directly with students in both substantially separate and inclusion settings, helping to ensure their individual education plans (IEPs) are successfully implemented. Your expertise will be valued as you work collaboratively with classroom educators and staff to design, consult, and support effective behavioral interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification and current license in Massachusetts are required.
- School-based experience is essential.
- Candidates who are fully credentialed will be given top consideration.
- Willingness and ability to complete the CORI background check and fingerprinting, including in-person verification at the districts main office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support for students at the elementary and middle school level across multiple school sites.
- Collaborate with educators and inclusion teams to ensure comprehensive support for students based on IEP service delivery models.
- Observe, assess, and report on student progress, offering strategies to optimize educational and behavioral outcomes.
- Maintain thorough documentation and communication regarding student plans and interventions.
