Job Description
Make a meaningful impact for students by providing crucial support as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a part-time contract for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year. This opportunity focuses on serving a dedicated caseload of approximately 29 students, with responsibilities centering on consultation, effective behavioral intervention, and collaborative staff support. Youll work two days per week, with scheduling flexibility Monday through Friday.
What Were Looking For:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience in public schools is preferred but not required
- Skilled at supporting students with behavioral needs and implementing behavior intervention strategies
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with teachers, staff, students, and multidisciplinary teams
- Creative, compassionate, and a true team player
Your Role Will Include:
- Consulting with classroom staff to address behavioral concerns and recommend strategies
- Updating and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with IEPs
- Providing direct and indirect support for approximately 22 elementary (Grades 25) and 7 middle school students
- Collaborating with special education professionals and school administration to promote positive student outcomes
- Helping maintain a positive classroom environment for both staff and students
Additional Details:
The schedule is part-time, with two days a week onsite (and flexibility within weekdays). Youll play a vital role in ensuring classrooms remain stable and well-supported as you contribute to the overall wellbeing and educational success of both students and staff.
