Key Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Proven experience developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior interventions in educational settings
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for students with autism and related developmental disorders
  • Demonstrated ability to train and provide guidance to school staff and parents
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and utilize data to inform programming

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to determine students support needs
  • Develop, monitor, and evaluate individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Work in partnership with teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators to ensure consistent intervention delivery
  • Provide training and ongoing support for staff implementing behavioral strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and articulate recommendations for behavioral supports
  • Track and analyze behavioral data, adjusting interventions for maximum effectiveness
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies
