Exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a meaningful impact across K-12 educational settings. This full-time contract position will have you collaborating with dedicated staff members to enhance behavioral and autism support programs throughout multiple schools in the area.
You will serve as a district-wide resource, providing expertise and guidance wherever its needed most. In this role, youll work closely with building staff, conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and provide essential supervision for two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). With no direct student caseload, your focus will be on high-level support and consultation. This position requires onsite presence and begins as soon as possible, running through late May 2027.
Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license in Colorado
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential
- Proven experience supporting K-12 students, especially in behavioral or autism programs
- Skilled in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Leadership experience or prior supervision of RBTs is a plus
- Ability to travel between school sites within the district
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide consultation across multiple schools (K-12)
- Support behavioral and autism programs district-wide
- Supervise and mentor two RBTs
- Complete assessments and create comprehensive intervention plans
- Serve as a resource for staff, providing training and ongoing support
- Ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
