Job Description
A Behavioral Specialist Consultant with BCBA certification and Delaware licensure is sought for an onsite role in Wilmington, DE, supporting special education students in a school setting. This position spans from August 2026 through June 2027, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours. Candidates must have demonstrated experience working within schools, providing behavioral case management and support to students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the case manager or behavioral support specialist for assigned special education students.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Monitor and document behavioral outcomes and adjust strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must hold Delaware state BCBA licensure.
- Proven in-school experience working with special education populations.
- Strong skills in behavioral assessment, intervention, and data analysis.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Location:
Wilmington, Delaware - Onsite school environment with possible travel as required.
