Make an impact through applied behavior analysis with a contract opportunity supporting young learners with moderate to severe cognitive needs. This position is based in the Early Years Program, providing dedicated, onsite service during both the traditional school year and summer programming.
This role spans from ASAP through June 12, 2026, with an immediate start date. The summer schedule includes professional development days on June 23 and June 24, followed by an in-service period from July 6 to August 6, Monday through Thursday. During summer, shifts run from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The school-year schedule offers full-time hours at 37.5 hours per week, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, working in a collaborative early childhood educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware BCBA license required
- Prior school-based experience highly desirable
- Proven background working with early childhood or intensive needs populations
- Comfortable working onsite in a classroom setting
- Fingerprinting eligibility and readiness to start promptly
- Reliable transportation to and from the Warner Site
- Ability to commit to the full contract term and participate in both school year and summer programming
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver behavioral and consultative support to students with moderate to severe cognitive needs
- Develop and oversee individualized interventions aligned with IEP requirements
- Conduct assessments and analyze behavioral data
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Provide professional development as needed during summer sessions
- Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations for behavioral services in school settings
