Make an immediate impact supporting K8 students with diverse cognitive abilities in a dynamic school-based setting near Wilmington, DE. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) passionate about making a difference in the lives of students attending the Meadowood Program. Youll collaborate closely with educators and staff to foster a positive and effective learning environment, providing direct behavioral support, program oversight, and intervention planning.
Qualifications:
- Must possess active Delaware BCBA licensure
- Demonstrated school-based experience preferred
- Expertise working with children with moderate to severe cognitive needs strongly desired
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with developing and implementing effective, data-driven behavioral interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver behavioral oversight and support across the K8 Meadowood Program
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Conduct behavioral assessments and provide guidance for data collection and interpretation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop positive strategies and interventions
- Lead program development geared toward enhancing student achievement and classroom climate
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state licensure requirements and best practices
