Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Graduate degree in psychology, special education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field
- Previous experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans within a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of functional behavior assessments and data-driven behavioral strategies
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, school psychologists, and paraprofessionals
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Dedication to upholding ethical standards in behavior analysis
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments for students referred by educational staff
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to teachers and instructional aides
- Collect, analyze, and report on behavioral data to support student growth and program effectiveness
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and school administrators to ensure cohesive support for each student
- Participate in team meetings, providing expertise on positive behavioral interventions
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in special education and applied behavior analysis
