Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
- Experience working within school settings or with children and adolescents required
- Strong understanding of functional behavior assessments (FBA) and developing effective behavior intervention plans (BIP)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with school teams, families, and outside providers
- Ability to provide training and guidance to school staff on implementing behavioral strategies
- Thorough organization, data collection, and documentation abilities
What Youll Be Doing:
- Conduct behavioral assessments to identify student needs and barriers to learning
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and counselors to support students in inclusive settings
- Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to school staff on behavioral best practices
- Involve families in the intervention process to ensure consistency and progress across settings
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and modify interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input for individualized plans
