A dynamic opportunity awaits a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) eager to make an impact during the upcoming school year! This contract role calls for a data-driven professional to work directly with students and educators across three school sites. As the districts pioneering BCBA, you will help shape the future of behavioral supports and foster collaborative relationships with staff and teachers.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience working in educational environmentsserving both general education and special education populations
- Strong background in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing actionable behavior intervention plans
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively with psychologists, teachers, and classroom staff
- Must be adept at providing direct services to students and leading classroom observations, including in emotional support settings
- Ability to present a redacted FBA sample and provide professional references
Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site services (3740 hours/week) across all three district schools
- Conduct systematic observations, contribute to FBAs, and create individualized behavior plans
- Collaborate in IEP meetings and closely consult with both teaching staff and school psychologists
- Support district-wide initiatives as the organizations first BCBA, helping establish best practices
- Work entirely on-site, ensuring personalized and consistent support for students and staff
