Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students with behavioral needs in an elementary school setting. This maternity leave fill assignment provides the chance to make a lasting difference in young learners lives by working closely with a dedicated team, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). The assignment runs from late September through early January, offering both challenge and reward in a collaborative school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience supporting elementary school-aged children within classroom or school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and data collection
- Ability to collaborate effectively with BCBAs, teachers, and school staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans devised by the supervising BCBA
- Provide direct, 1:1 or small group support to students throughout the school day
- Collect ongoing behavior data and communicate progress to BCBAs and educators
- Participate in team meetings and support IEP implementation as appropriate
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
