Make a meaningful difference supporting K-12 students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic contract position located near Westport, CT. Your expertise as a CT-licensed BCBA will be instrumental in developing and implementing data-driven behavior intervention plans, guiding school staff, and working closely with students who benefit from compassionate, individualized support.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Connecticut BCBA license
- Prior experience with school-aged populations, K-12, strongly preferred
- Skilled in functional behavior assessments, positive behavior supports, and staff training
- Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Serve multiple school locations with a flexible caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct thorough functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and design effective intervention plans
- Provide ongoing coaching and consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Track and report progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to robust support teams
- Stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis and special education
