Job Description

Seeking a skilled and compassionate professional with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification to make a significant impact in a school setting near West Sacramento, CA. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Must hold active BCBA certification.
  • Proven experience working within school environments is highly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of behavior intervention strategies and individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to consult with both staff and family members.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to diverse student needs and school cultures.
  • Current knowledge of ethical practices and legal regulations governing special education and behavioral health.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop personalized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Train and support school staff in the implementation of behavior plans and positive behavioral supports.
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing detailed insights and behavior recommendations.
  • Engage directly with students to model and reinforce positive behaviors.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistent support across school and home settings.
