Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania

A school district in West Chester, PA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide district-wide behavioral support services for students in grades K12. This role is focused on supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs in both general education and special education settings.

This is a school-based BCBA position ideal for a clinician who is passionate about applied behavior analysis in educational environments and is experienced supporting students with emotional regulation challenges, school avoidance behaviors, and skill acquisition needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students across K12 settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
  • Design behavior intervention programs focused on:
    • Teaching skill deficits
    • Maintaining acquired skills
    • Developing self-help, coping, and emotional regulation skills
    • Building routines and interventions to address school avoidance behaviors
  • Provide ongoing consultation to teachers, administrators, and support staff
  • Train school staff on implementation of FBAs, PBSPs, and behavior intervention strategies
  • Support data collection systems and use data-driven decision-making to adjust interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of K12 educational environments and special education processes
  • Experience supporting students with social-emotional, behavioral, and school avoidance needs
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and training skills
