Job Description

Make an impact supporting students and school psych professionals as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within a dynamic school district near Weatherford, TX. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced BCBAs who thrive in an itinerant school-based setting, offering both variety and the chance to collaborate on comprehensive educational assessments.

In this role, youll provide critical evaluative support and behavioral consultation to enhance Full Individual and Initial Evaluations (FIIEs), assisting school psychologists and multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise in specialized assessments and data-driven behavioral strategies will directly contribute to better educational outcomes for students across an assigned region.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license in Texas required
  • Demonstrated experience working in school-based environments strongly preferred
  • Skilled in administering and interpreting assessments such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS, as well as conducting Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Adept at providing evaluative, consultative, and behavioral support to support student development
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites as part of an itinerant assignment
  • Must commit to completing TEA fingerprinting requirements if not previously cleared for Texas public schools

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with school psychologists and special education teams on comprehensive student evaluations
  • Conduct behavioral assessments, direct observations, and gather data to inform interventions
  • Provide expertise in identifying skill deficits and recommend strategies for behavioral support
  • Serve as a consultative resource for school teams, supporting tailored intervention planning
  • Document findings and recommendations in compliance with district protocols

This full-time assignment will run from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with up to 37.5 hours per week and a focus on enriching educational experiences for students.
