Job Description

Providing Behavioral Support Services for School-Based Programs in Watsonville, CA

This full-time opportunity involves delivering expert BCBA support at a single school site in Watsonville, California, throughout the 2026-2027 full school year. The focus of this role is supporting the RBT and behavioral team by conducting assessments and evaluations of students with behavior challenges. The position requires working collaboratively with diverse student populations and the special education team to develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans. Additional responsibilities include supervising district staff to support program fidelity and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavior assessments and evaluations for students exhibiting behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with the special education (SPED) team to support IEP development and implementation.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to RBTs and behavioral staff within the district.
  • Work directly with students from diverse backgrounds to address individualized behavior goals.
  • Participate in ongoing team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making to improve student success.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed to practice in California.
  • Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential.
  • Experience working in school settings with diverse populations.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education systems.

Location and Schedule:

  • Onsite position based in Watsonville, CA.
  • Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Commitment for the entire 2026-2027 school year.
