Job Description

A position is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized support within a school setting in Washington, DC. This contract role is ideal for professionals skilled in applying behavioral principles to develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans for students with behavioral and developmental challenges.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
  • Experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations
  • Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and develop effective behavior intervention plans
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and data collection methods

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student behavior and create tailored intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student behavioral goals
  • Train and guide school personnel on behavior management approaches
  • Monitor progress and modify plans as necessary based on data analysis
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory and school requirements
