Put your expertise and passion for helping students to work in a rewarding contract opportunity supporting learners as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Work onsite at a dynamic school setting near Van Buren, AR, for the full academic year (August through late May). Youll play a pivotal role in creating supportive learning environments, collaborating with school staff, and making a measurable impact on students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification and licensure required
- Demonstrated experience in a K-12 school setting or with pediatric populations
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and student support plans
- Confident communicator able to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Skillful at assessment, intervention, and ongoing data-driven decision-making
- Flexibility and professionalism in a changing school environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop evidence-based behavior intervention plans
- Supervise and provide training for school staff implementing behavior support strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to ensure interventions are effective and goal-oriented
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, contribute to IEP processes, and provide expert guidance to staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation aligned with school and regulatory requirements
