Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment tools and techniques
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative support to students, tailoring interventions to unique needs
  • Train and guide school personnel and families on implementing strategies for positive behavior change
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and ethical standards
  • Collaborate with educational staff to integrate behavior management practices into classroom routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary team discussions
