Make a real difference in the lives of elementary students by supporting a welcoming school community as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a maternity leave coverage assignment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) near Tuskegee, AL, focusing on evidence-based behavioral support in an engaging elementary setting.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience implementing behavioral intervention plans with children in educational settings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with BCBAs, teachers, and school staff
- Strong skills in data collection and documentation of student progress
- Positive, compassionate approach to working with students of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct one-on-one or small group behavioral support to elementary-aged students
- Collaborating with BCBAs to follow individualized intervention plans
- Monitoring, collecting, and recording data on student behaviors and interventions
- Communicating observations and progress updates to BCBAs and educational staff
- Contributing to a positive, supportive educational environment for all learners
- Participating in team meetings or consultations as needed
