Seeking an experienced BCBA to provide specialized support to students within a dynamic school environment near Tuscaloosa, AL. Desired Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with students in educational settings
- Strong skills in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Ability to train and coach teachers and paraprofessionals in behavioral strategies
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to adapt interventions to meet the needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student behavioral needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
- Provide direct and consultative support for students with challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care
- Train educators and school personnel on evidence-based behavioral approaches
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress and refine interventions as needed
- Adhere to all district, state, and federal guidelines for behavioral services
