Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Previous experience working with school-age children or in educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data-driven interventions
- Effective communication and rapport-building skills with students, educators, and parents
- Ability to provide staff training, consultation, and support in behavior intervention implementation
- Organized, flexible, and able to manage caseloads efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes
- Coach and train school staff on evidence-based ABA strategies and data collection practices
- Monitor progress through regular data analysis, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure effectiveness
- Engage in IEP meetings, providing input on behavioral goals and accommodations
- Work closely with families, offering guidance and resources to reinforce strategies at home
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school district and professional guidelines
