Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Previous experience working with school-age children or in educational settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data-driven interventions
  • Effective communication and rapport-building skills with students, educators, and parents
  • Ability to provide staff training, consultation, and support in behavior intervention implementation
  • Organized, flexible, and able to manage caseloads efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes
  • Coach and train school staff on evidence-based ABA strategies and data collection practices
  • Monitor progress through regular data analysis, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure effectiveness
  • Engage in IEP meetings, providing input on behavioral goals and accommodations
  • Work closely with families, offering guidance and resources to reinforce strategies at home
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school district and professional guidelines
