Key qualifications and experience:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Valid state credentials to practice as a BCBA
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs
- Design and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with behavioral, developmental, or learning differences
- Train and support teachers, aides, and other school staff in effective behavioral strategies
- Collect and analyze data to measure student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEPs, and maintain comprehensive documentation
