Job Description

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop and monitor behavior intervention plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
  • Valid state credentials to practice as a BCBA

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs
  • Design and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students with behavioral, developmental, or learning differences
  • Train and support teachers, aides, and other school staff in effective behavioral strategies
  • Collect and analyze data to measure student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEPs, and maintain comprehensive documentation
