Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Proven experience supporting students in school settings
- Solid understanding of behavior intervention models and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff
- Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies to ensure student progress
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation is highly valued
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administration to integrate ABA strategies
- Provide ongoing staff and family training to promote consistency across settings
- Regularly collect and analyze behavior data to measure effectiveness and guide interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral expertise to student support teams
- Support crisis intervention and manage challenging behaviors in accordance with best practices
