Make a significant impact supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic school setting near South San Francisco, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators and families, guiding the development and implementation of evidence-based behavioral interventions to facilitate student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current BCBA certification
- Experience creating and adjusting Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Skilled in conducting behavioral assessments and functional analyses
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to train and provide ongoing support to school personnel and paraprofessionals
- Experience working with school-aged children with a range of abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor data-driven behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with student IEP goals
- Provide ongoing training and consultation to staff on ABA strategies and behavior management
- Track progress and adjust interventions as necessary based on data
- Engage families in the behavior support process, promoting consistency across settings
- Maintain thorough, organized, and confidential documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
