Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supporting students and educators for a full school year. This onsite contract-to-hire position is located near South Holland, IL, and is ideal for professionals who enjoy variety and collaborating within an instructional support team environment.

In this role, you'll float between two schools each week, engaging directly with students at various grade levels. Your expertise in developing, implementing, and coaching staff on Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) will be essential to fostering positive outcomes and training team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness in behavior management strategies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA license for the state
  • Prior experience providing behavioral services in school-based settings
  • Thorough knowledge of BIP development, implementation, and staff training best practices
  • Comfortable floating between multiple school buildings
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individual behavioral plans for students across grade levels
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff in two different schools to ensure successful implementation of BIPs
  • Provide training and ongoing support to instructional teams, ensuring fidelity to planned interventions
  • Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary to maximize developmental and educational success
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with state and district policies
