Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting students with severe disabilities and autism as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the upcoming school year. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to build positive, lasting change for children and young adults aged 222 by shaping behavioral strategies and collaborating with dedicated educators.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification (documentation required at submission)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with students with severe needs or autism
  • Strong background in crisis intervention and de-escalation practices
  • Proficiency in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills for collaborating on IEPs and supporting staff

Main Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a behavioral expert in crisis and de-escalation situations, participating on the crisis intervention team
  • Conduct comprehensive FBAs and develop individualized BSPs for students as needed
  • Collaborate closely with other staff on IEP goals related to behavior and document progress
  • Provide ongoing behavioral support and guidance to teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom staff
  • Assist with data collection and analysis to inform behavioral interventions

This role is for the 2026/2027 school year and requires commitment to a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, on-site. Interviews are conducted via Microsoft Teams for your convenience.
