Make a difference in the lives of students and educators as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full academic year in the Chattanooga area. This contract role offers the unique opportunity to support an entire school district from a centralized office, providing consultation services across multiple campuses based on referral needs. Your expertise will directly influence positive behavioral outcomes for students across a diverse and dynamic district.
Your Impact:
- Serve as a district-based BCBA supporting up to 80 schools through a structured referral process
- Collaborate with the respected Vanderbilt Triad program and participate in monthly consults for enhanced, data-driven practice and professional development
- Utilize an established Help Desk system to manage caseloads effectively and prevent burnout
- Maintain a full-time schedule averaging 7.5 hours per day, typically between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., aligned with varying school start times
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing recommendations, ongoing support, and training to staff and families
Qualifications:
- Current, active BCBA license required
- Experience working within educational settings strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with district staff, outside consultants, and community programs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness and eligibility to undergo time-sensitive fingerprinting/background checks
