Job Description

Take your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and make a meaningful impact supporting students and staff in an educational setting near Signal Mountain, TN. This contract opportunity invites you to work onsite, partnering closely with the RBT/Behavioral team, educators, and special education professionals to enhance student outcomes for the entire 2024-2025 school year.

You will have the option to work either full time (37.5 hours/week) or part time (20 hours/week) within a single school, offering the flexibility to fit your schedule and commitment preferences. Your focus will be on conducting detailed assessments and evaluations for students with behavioral challenges, developing and overseeing tailored IEP strategies, and supervising the districts behavioral support processes.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Active BCBA License for Tennessee
  • Experience providing behavioral support and conducting assessments in K-12 or similar environments
  • Strong skills in collaborating with special education teams and supporting IEP implementation
  • Ability to supervise and mentor RBTs and other behavioral team members
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments for diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Perform student behavioral assessments and develop effective intervention plans
  • Supervise RBTs and contribute to the professional development of the behavioral team
  • Collaborate with special education teams to support students IEP goals and comply with relevant processes
  • Maintain thorough documentation and communication on student progress and program outcomes
