Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working in educational settings, particularly with children and adolescents
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with faculty, staff, and families
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability to support a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and regularly track progress data
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support positive behavioral changes
- Provide ongoing training and consultation for staff on ABA principles and strategies
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings, contributing valuable insights as part of the student support team
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and professional standards
