Make an impact working directly with a 5th-grade student as an ABA professional in a supportive school environment near Schenectady, NY. This contract, part-time opportunity is ideal for dedicated BCBA, ABA Therapists, or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) who are skilled in providing evidence-based behavioral interventions and thrive in a collaborative, onsite setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid NY credentials as BCBA, RBT, or ABA Therapist
- Background in applied behavior analysis within educational settings
- Experience designing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
- Compassion and patience for working one-on-one with students
- Ability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule (10 hours per week)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct ABA therapy and support to a designated 5th-grade student
- Create and adapt interventions based on ongoing data collection and student progress
- Collaborate closely with special education teams and coordinate strategies with teachers and parents
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and regular reporting
- Attend team meetings and participate in student planning as needed
