Job Description
A school in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students across Kindergarten through 12th grade. This contracted position offers 37.5 hours per week and requires national certification as a BCBA.
Key Qualifications:
- Current National Certification for Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and interventions
- Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with school staff and families
Location:
- Monrovia, California
Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for students
- Provide training and support to teachers and support staff regarding behavior strategies
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
