Step into a rewarding contract role providing behavioral support in a vibrant educational environment. Two positions are available for skilled Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to fill temporary needs beginning August 5, 2026. This on-site opportunity involves working directly with students and school staff to support positive outcomes during maternity leave coverage.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid California credential with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) authorization
- Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with team members, students, and families
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a dynamic setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student behavior and design individualized intervention strategies
- Provide guidance and training to staff on the implementation of behavior plans
- Collect, interpret, and report behavioral data per established protocols
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, including providing necessary documentation and recommendations
- Ensure interventions meet district, state, and federal guidelines
Additional Details:
- Full-time, on-site schedule (37.5 hours per week)
- Caseload includes supporting students during maternity leaves; assignments and exact needs to be determined upon supervisor placement (anticipated after 7/27)
- Contract position; two BCBAs needed for the 2026-2027 school year
