Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Proven experience working with school-aged children
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Ability to develop, supervise, and adjust individual behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Capable of conducting assessments, analyzing data, and preparing progress reports
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform functional behavior assessments to identify student needs and create targeted intervention plans
- Provide direct services for students as outlined by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer consultation, training, and support to school staff and families
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and paraprofessionals
- Monitor program effectiveness, make data-driven adjustments, and document all interventions
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert input on behavior management strategies
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations within the school setting
