Key Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working within school settings, preferably K-12
- Deep understanding of functional behavior assessments and data-driven intervention planning
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to train and consult with teachers, staff, and caregivers
- Capable of managing a diverse caseload and prioritizing needs in a fast-paced educational setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document progress, conduct meetings, and advocate for students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to support students academic and social-emotional development
- Provide ongoing staff training and consultation on behavior support strategies and data collection methods
- Monitor student progress, gather and analyze relevant data, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP or other team meetings to ensure behavior goals are integrated into each students educational program
- Support crisis intervention and de-escalation as necessary, maintaining a safe and supportive learning atmosphere
