This contract position offers the chance to work with a dedicated school-based team as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students growth and success.
Youll serve as a behavioral consultant, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement evidence-based interventions. This role allows you to use your expertise to improve classroom behavior, support social-emotional development, and create positive change across a range of ages and abilities.
Desired qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification
- Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans in educational settings
- Solid understanding of ABA principles and best practices
- Strong collaboration, communication, and consultative skills
- Ability to train and mentor staff on behavior strategies
- Flexible approach and commitment to adapting interventions for diverse student needs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting behavioral assessments and FBA for students referred for support
- Designing and tailoring individual intervention strategies
- Supporting instructional staff with effective data collection and progress monitoring
- Leading professional development and training for teachers and school personnel
- Advocating for students by participating in IEP and team meetings
- Consulting regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to review progress and adjust interventions
- Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with school and legal requirements
