Job Description

This contract opportunity lets you collaborate closely with educators, students, and families to implement and monitor effective behavioral interventions.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current BCBA certification required
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of functional behavior assessments (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of special education laws and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students and staff
  • Train and support educators and staff on the implementation of interventions and data collection
  • Monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to behavior plans
  • Collaborate with IEP teams, providing insights and recommendations related to behavioral needs
  • Facilitate parent meetings, offering support and education on behavior interventions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
