Job Description
Exciting contract opportunity for experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) interested in making a positive impact in educational settings near Saint Johns, FL. This full-time position runs from August 10, 2026, to May 28, 2027, and offers a dynamic, itinerant assignment supporting 5-7 schoolsprimarily PreK programs. As a BCBA in this district, youll provide invaluable support to educators, enhancing student outcomes without offering direct student services.
What Were Seeking:
- Current and active BCBA certification
- School-based BCBA experience highly desired
- Strong skills in developing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Expertise in staff consultation, data collection assistance, and modeling behavioral strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility to travel between assigned campuses (mileage within the district may be required)
- Fingerprinting per Florida district requirements (support provided for AHCA Clearinghouse verification and badge process)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers in self-contained PreK classrooms to strengthen program outcomes
- Conduct classroom observations and provide actionable feedback
- Develop and review FBAs; suggest strategies for behavioral interventions
- Model data collection and intervention methods for instructional staff
- Assist in the creation and refinement of behavior intervention plans
- Maintain detailed documentation for district compliance
