Qualifications/Experience:

  • Active and valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to consult and collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs through observation and data collection, creating and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to implement behavioral goals and interventions.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support for classroom staff on behavior management strategies.
  • Monitor progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain thorough, timely documentation of student progress and interventions.
  • Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Stay current with best practices and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
