Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Demonstrated experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- In-depth knowledge of behavioral assessment tools and intervention planning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and progress notes
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments to determine students needs
- Develop and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school administration to implement effective strategies
- Provide training and consultation to school personnel and caregivers on best practices in behavior management
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide instruction and measure progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Support school initiatives focused on positive behavioral supports and student success
