Job Description
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst serving K-12 students. Youll collaborate with educational teams to create a positive impact for students with behavioral and learning challenges. This full-time position offers regular weekday hours, allowing for a stable schedule and meaningful engagement in student development.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a closely related discipline
- Current certification as a BCBA through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Passion for empowering students across diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff, students, and families
- Prior experience within school settings is advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and interpret data to inform intervention strategies
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Train and provide ongoing support to teachers, aides, and families on best practices in behavior management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students behavioral needs are met
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Engage with students in one-on-one and group settings across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
