Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in school or educational settings
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop, monitor, and adjust effective behavioral intervention plans
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to identify behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to design and implement individualized behavior strategies
- Train and support teachers, aides, and paraprofessionals in ABA techniques and interventions
- Develop and monitor student progress, adjusting programs as necessary for maximum effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Participate in meetings, consultations, and IEP team discussions as needed
