Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting PreK programs as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the vibrant area near Ponte Vedra Beach, FL! This full-time contract position offers a dynamic itinerary, with each BCBA collaborating closely with 5-7 schools throughout the school year. Youll play a key consultative role in empowering teachers by offering expert guidance, shaping positive behavioral outcomes, and modeling impactful strategies for young learners.
In this on-site-only position, your expertise will be focused on providing pivotal support rather than direct service. Enjoy the chance to mentor educators, navigate diverse school environments, and hone your skills in data collection, behavioral assessments, and plan development for self-contained PreK classrooms.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active BCBA licensure
- Previous experience working with PreK or elementary age populations is preferred
- Skilled at developing FBAs, consulting, and providing actionable feedback to instructional staff
- Adaptability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple school sites
- Commitment to fulfilling all fingerprinting and credentialing requirements per Florida school district and AHCA Clearinghouse guidelines
Responsibilities:
- Consult and collaborate with educators to design and implement evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Observe classrooms, collect and analyze behavioral data, and model best practices for school staff
- Develop individualized strategies and functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Support self-contained PreK classrooms, offering professional development and hands-on guidance where needed
This contract role spans the academic year, beginning August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a MondayFriday schedule (7 hours per day, 35 hours per week).
