You will work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to design and implement effective behavioral interventions. Utilizing evidence-based strategies, you'll assess students needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progressplaying a critical role in helping young learners reach their fullest potential.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Current BCBA certification
- Graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Experience developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse learners, families, and educators
- Proficient in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Excellent organization and time management abilities
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments in school settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct and indirect support to students with behavioral challenges
- Train and coach school staff on effective behavioral techniques
- Collect and analyze data to measure intervention effectiveness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated support
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reports
