Exciting opportunity available for an experienced BCBA to make a meaningful impact on K-12 students in a school setting near Paterson, NJ! This full-time, contract position runs from September 2, 2025, through June 26, 2026. Youll provide genuine support to a diverse caseload across multiple schools within close proximity, working in-person Monday through Friday, 8:15AM to 3:15PM (or 3:05PM). Be at the center of a collaborative educational environment, providing crucial behavioral analysis services and expertise.
What Were Looking For:
- Current BCBA certification with strong school-based experience
- Proven track record working with Autism Spectrum Disorders in educational settings
- Skillful in both conducting behavioral testing and comprehensive student evaluations
- Comfort managing a K-12 caseload and meeting each students unique needs
- Able to offer district support and function as a key resource for staff and families
- Organized, efficient, and able to adapt across several school sites within a district
- Reliable transportation required for travel between locations
What Youll Do:
- Administer behavioral assessments, testing, and evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans
- Provide ongoing guidance and training to teachers, aides, and related service professionals
- Meet with families and staff to discuss student progress and recommendations
- Work closely with administration to support district-wide special education and behavior initiatives
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive support for each student
